What is the blogging assignment?
With this blogging assignment, we are seeking favourable independent reviews of the highly awarded animation, “Daisy: A Hen Into the Wild”. “Daisy: A Hen Into the Wild” has already taken home Best Sitges Family Film Diploma at the 2011 Sitges Film Festival in Spain, as well as the award for Best Animated Feature Film at the 2011 Asia Pacific Screen Awards held in Australia.
Additionally, producer Shim Jae-myung (a.k.a. Jaime Shim) CEO of Myung Films won a Special Mention at the 2011 Korean Association of Film Critics Awards for her contribution to the popularization of Korean Animation.
On a chicken farm among hundreds of hens is Daisy, one amazing hen who dreams of a life outside her cage. She manages to escape from captivity using her wit only to find herself being hunted down by the weasel One Eye. Luckily a brave ‘guardian’ duck named Wanderer manages to save her by the skin of their beaks or bills as it were. Even though she was saved, Daisy realizes that she is surrounded by danger. Especially when she becomes the adoptive mother of a duckling. Based on the award winning book of “The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly”.
This film is being released in the US in early September, so we kindly ask that this review be posted on or close to this release date.
In this review we would like to include that DAISY: A HEN INTO THE WILD will be AVAILABLE on ITUNES and Video-On-Demand. A link can be provided closer to the release date.
